As the Fourth Summit of the Americas comes to a close in Argentina...

One wonders if the targets and planned outcomes of this conference have been met...As the streets are cleared of the debris from the peaceful followed by violent protests...

While the politicians (popular & unpopular) return to their enclaves, the message of the thousands peacefully demonstrating against a free trade scheme was loud and clear...
Will the promised eradication of poverty, provision of health care, employment and better living conditions be met by the plans put in train by the bureaucrats?

One wonders as the INDIGENOUS peoples from all over the Americas still confront Racism. Poverty, victimisation, degrading of their homesteads... PLUS untoward mammoth Earth Changes...

Has anybody raised the issue of infant mortality...The drug trade...Slavery...Illegal gold, diamond, uranium, bauxite, tin or copper mining.. plus the unabated logging that denudes the largest rainforest???

May the ancesors be pleased as we acknowledge our way of measuring time,

Sadness of ITOPI

Sadness reigns today across the land that should have celebrated the 75th Anniversary of the Coronation of H.I.M.

Did anybody read the message or understand the legacy of the message before the League of Nations (1936) the formation of which H.I.M. was a direct influence/initiator?

For the sake of HUMANITY...may those directly responsible exercise some restrain from the violence.

The 2nd November 1930 was the date of the auspicious Coronation of 38 year old Ethiopian Prince Ras Negas Tafari as Emperor of Ethiopia.

Rastafarians and others across the diaspora celebrate this historic occasion that impacts till this day on the yearning of Afrikans internationally.

Further, the words of His Imperial Majesty's plea for assistance (in the face of ITALIAN AGGRESSION) at the now defunct League of Nations ( as also immortalised in song by Hon. Bob Marley) rings true till TODAY as well.

"It is us today. It will be you tomorrow."

"Until the philosophy which holds one race superior and another inferior is finally and totally discredited and abandoned......"
